Here is a frame in progress - minus the fenders,
luggage rack and a couple odds and ends.
Here I am welding the "leading edge" of
the front fender into place. This fender is mostly hammer
formed by hand.
Here I am adding the final touches to the rear
fender. You can see the welded seam where I sectioned and
re-arched a finder I had laying around. The results are
really very pleasing to the eye.
I think the fenders give the bike much of its
character.
Here is another rear fender I build entirely
from scratch. Trust me when I say that this is the long way
around the rear tire. First I made a bunch of short fender
segments, and then welded them onto two fender "crescents".
